Trust

I was inspired to write about trust. It is a tricky thing to trust, the Universe, yourself, others. I can say from firsthand experience, trusting the Universe has never failed me, but I can’t say the same for myself or others. We grow from patterns and expectations of society into people who do things the way they are supposed to because that it what you are supposed to do.

People disregard their own inner knowing because they feel that they have to do what society has deemed the right thing to do. No wonder our own guidance is hard to trust. We are either listening to what everyone else is telling us to do or struggling with ourselves (inner conflict between ego and soul). It is nearly impossible to decipher what the Universe is telling us will take us down the right path.

Self-trust is hard when you don’t know how to cut out the chatter in your head. Which do you listen to, this one or that? So in so said, this and this person told me that…and on it goes. This ties in with one of my earlier posts about getting quiet. Being quiet and letting go of the monkey mind helps you to begin to hear your inner guidance which then allows you to confidently move in the right direction.

There is never a guarantee when you are in any kind of relationship that the other will do what you trust them to do. The only one that you can absolutely trust is yourself as long as you have a strong connection with God, Source, the Universe.

May those who are in turmoil over what to do next and don’t know who or what to trust find Peace. May they allow Love to wash over them and be confident in knowing that their inner guidance is intact and ready to go and with practice they will find their true authentic path.
