Finding Balance

Do you ever notice how one day you can be completely in control, you feel strong, nothing phases you and life just seems easy and then the very next day you wake up and you feel like crawling back into bed and pulling the covers over your head and crying all day?
Lately my days have been exactly like that, of course I want to ONLY have the strong days. Who doesn’t? My highs are very high and my lows are very low. I was once told I’m very black and white about life. There’s no middle ground, no gray.
That is no longer true for me. I have been picked up and thrown to the ground by the Universe because on many occasions I asked for life to become REAL, more passionate. What I’ve heard is very true. Be careful what you ask for…someone is listening!!! Jeez.
I thrive on truth and I have been subjected to a world of lies. Now you must remember, I come from a place where I believe there is no good and there is no bad. So, life can’t always be about truth, there is a balance. I looked down on lies. I judged them. I am human, what can I say?

After quite some time on this not so fun roller-coaster ride of ups and downs, last night I said out loud, what is my lesson in all of this? I feel like a yo-yo and I’m so worn out! Today as it often happens I wake up inspired to write about balance.
When one is too heavily involved in one thing, they are out of balance. For balance to be achieved, one must have opposite experiences. We would not know about the power of light if we never saw the darkness. We would not know joy without knowing sadness. I would not be able to feel how strong I am if I didn’t have the weak, weepy days.
When you find yourself in the depths of despair, please count on the fact that there is the opposite emotion and you will find it. You just have to FEEL the emotion you are experiencing without judging it or wanting it gone. Remember we are here for the human experience. When you accept things as they come and feel them fully, they can move on and the next thing can move into your awareness.
The more you practice feeling all emotion, the stronger you get at seeing how the “bad” days are temporary and then you begin to achieve balance in your life.
My wishes and blessings for you are that you can really embrace change and flow with whatever comes your way with ease and grace!
